You can place multiple of the adjacent to eachother to increase their mining speed, range and power consumption. The Salvage Cannon won't function without being linked to a Salvage Computer. Once you placed a computer and then add the cannons to your ship, you will see a purple outline around the cannons. This indicates that they are linked to the computer. If they do not have a purple outline, this means that you did not have the computer selected when you placed them or you are not in your ship, select the computer and place them again. By pressing 'T' you can add the Salvage Cannon to your hotbar. This is one of the things you should buy straight in the beginning as you can use these to gather ores and other valuable materials a lot faster. May wrapped up our 2nd council term as elections were held for the 3rd Council term. Results for Term 3 were announced a day ago. We see the return of some familiar faces, as well as a new face on the council. We also reduced the number of councilors this term, to see if less works more efficiently time will tell. The latest major feature to the game is the introduction of the main menu, something that we've needed for quite a while and so it's exciting to have it finally in.
